Quick dash to the coast

October 19, 2012 by fred Leave a Comment

Yesterday, I went to the coast. What a day it turns out to be. I left my house at 01h30 in the morning. 3h30 hour’s drive….met my friend Blobby. (Who was still in bed! Lazy git!) From his house we drove to the coast. I came out of the car and slipped. My face hit the tripod and then the ground. Blood was coming from everywhere, My face was covered with blood.I Thought that my nose was broken. But ,No time to stop. We walked for 30 minutes to the hide. We walked in the hide and waited for sunrise….and whaooo thousand of birds were there. It was INCREDIBLE, the sound was magical….I took loads of pictures.
Today, I have a nose like a strawberry…but it was worth it.

Fight, fight,fight

October 15, 2012 by fred 4 Comments

Yesterday, I was back at the rut. I came across one of my customer. So, I was not on my own this time.
We were VERY lucky. We came across a stag fight. Not just any stags, but massive stags. It was incredible. The sound and the atmosphere were magical. I felt really privilege to have been witness to such a grand spectacle…

This morning I went back to the deer rut. Again I had an amazing time. The weather was superb, Mist, cracking sunrise….It was beautiful. The sound of the stags bellowing in the countryside was magical.
I was lucky to capture the end result this time. This is the reason why all those magnificent beast are calling and fighting….you guess it the reason is SEX!

Canon 2x converter for sale

October 1, 2012 by fred Leave a Comment

Hi
I am selling a Canon 2x converter. The converter is mint. It is the Mk 1. I have bought the MKIII and that is why I am selling the Mk 1.
Please, be sure to know how to use a converter as I just had a brain dead “imbecile” (“Imbecile” is a very good, and very useful French word !) who bought it from me on EBAY thinking that a converter was a lens! I spoke to the Chap and he told me that he had done several photography course…and he never seen a lens as bad has this one! HE COULD NOT FOCUS WITH IT! I told him that a converter was not a lens! And that you were supposed to place the converter between the lens and the camera body! After 15 minutes on the phone (I had lost the will to live!)I told the chap to send the converter back to me and to give up photography!!
So if anyone wants to purchase this CONVERTER give me a call or send me an email. I would like £60.00 for the converter.
Frederic
