Fieldfare

January 31, 2015 by fred Leave a Comment

It`s always nice to get a bit of snow. Here in Buckinghamshire we had  a little bit of the white stuff . It lasted 5 minutes and it was gone.

I had placed a few apple in my garden. A fieldfare was eating one of the apple this morning. I went and sat in my hide and took a few shots.

I wish we had more snow!!!! It is easy to take picture of wildlife in the snow!!

January 21, 2015 by fred Leave a Comment

While I took some pictures of partridge …I also took pictures of brown hare and Chinese water deer….The meadow was white because of the frost and I had a cracking sunrise.

It`s a shame that we have not got any snow in Bucks. I love snow, it is so photogenic….

Morning snow storm

January 17, 2015 by fred 2 Comments

This morning, I was at my hare paradise. I was in the middle of a snow storm. It did not last very long. The light was incredible. very dark and bright. Storm Light , the best!

When this happened, it usually does not last for very long….I have to find things to place in the foreground! And quickly!

At first, I took shots of sheep  and after 10 minutes I came across a Brown hare….Beautiful…

The whole storm lasted 15 minutes and it was all over…

While at Slimbridge, I had the opportunity to photograph other duck. Slimbridge is probably one of the best place in UK to photograph ducks in flight.

Last Sunday, I decide with my friend Dave to go to Slimbridge. They had forecasted a sunny morning. And sunny it was. I witness a cracking sunrise. I love swan. Especially Bewick`s and whooper.

The light in the morning was superb and I was lucky to get a few pictures…

January 5, 2015 by fred 2 Comments

Happy new year!

Yesterday (Sunday) I decided to go to my “Hare paradise” It was very fogy. When I arrived there I really thought that I was wasting my time. Well I was wrong!

Every time I go to that place I always get something special. It was an incredible day…….in the fog….

Frederic

When I arrived at my hare paradise, this is how foggy it was.

I could barely see a hare run…

Suddenly, out of the mist I came across 15 grey partridge. Usually they would fly away. Well not here. They were feeding 6 metres in front of me. Taken with 70-200mm
