Yet again, snow was falling down last evening. This morning before work, I went for a few hours to my field hide.
Again, magpie, and carrion crow were there, Then, a big surprise! A pair of raven landed near my roadkill. I almost stop breathing. I was afraid that those very clever birds would see me straight away. No, they did not! I was lucky to take lot`s of picture of the two raven. They were spectacular. They were talking to each other all the time, making some incredible sounds…magic it was. It would have been imaginable to look at raven in Buckinghamshire five years ago. The red kite reintroduction in the Chilterns made this possible. The red kite is protected. That fact had a domino effect on other species like the raven, buzzard etc….
IT WAS GREAT!
