Three days ago I came across this old window. I though that it would be fun to photograph small birds in it. Here are a few pictures taken yesterday…
I like the way the bird is framed by the window.
Yesterday morning, I was at my woodland hide. I have been feeding there for the last month. I have two sparrowhawk coming. It`s a job to stop them.
I have place, Post, Branch everywhere.
Yesterday I was lucky.
One male came twice.
A bit of a crop, but I like this backlit picture…..
When the sparrowhawk happened to land within 6 metres of you.
Trust me when I say this: you stop breathing and you DO NOT MOVE!!
This one was in front of me for twenty minutes.
To go to honey pot is nice, but I much prefer doing my own stuff with my own setup….. The satisfaction that I get when I am in one of my hide is much greater .
This Sunday, I wanted to use some of the fishing net that I collected while on Shetland. I find them quite photogenic and different.
I know , They are “only” tit, but I find them challenging to photograph well.
And when you think that everything has come together .
You can think again.. what is wrong with this picture!
🙂 🙂 🙂
At 3h30, this Sunday morning, I was with my eyes wide open looking at the clock. I was in a warm bed and I was knackered. But a question was in my mind. Should I stay or should I go. It took me 15 minutes to decide. And then suddenly I was out of bed, quick breakfast and off I went……
None of my friends could come with me. It was going to be a lonely affair. I like to be on my own….I can concentrate on taking pictures.
It was an incredible morning…misty, cold, and sunny…
No need to say that during the morning I had to take the mick of my friends!!! 🙂 🙂 Gareth, Richard, Martin, I though about you. Honest… 🙂
Look at that power!
Bellowing in the mist…
Fallows are also displaying…
a doe amongst bracken….
I was about to leave when I came across this monster…
