Yesterday morning I was back with “my” kingfishers. During the night the temperature went bellow zero. it was cold. They was lot`s of ice everywhere.
It was amazing to watch and to photograph a kingfisher fishing amongst ice.
I wanted to photograph the kingfisher without any distraction…
It was ice cold , but that does not stop the kingfisher to hunt….
At last, we had a frost. Minus 4 last night.
They had forecasted a beautiful day, and for once they were right! 🙂
I did not want to miss the ice….

Yesterday, I woke up very early. They had forecast a heavy frost and I wanted to be out there first thing..
I was very lucky, I came across lots of different species that morning….
Sunrise was superb!

chiffchaff were in every bush 🙂

The last week has been cold…very cold. I went a “my” hare paradise several time…
It is always amazing to go there. These pictures were taken yesterday.
This is the technique I use to photograph hares….
This one was about a metre away. Taken with a 24-105 mm
This little tyke came to investigate me… just one metre away…Amazing.
This morning, I was at “my” hare paradise and yet again I could not have gone wrong.
The light was to die for and plenty of subject to photograph…
