Last Sunday, I was back in my floating hide. The light was not great but the birds are getting use to see that green bubble going round the lake. I cannot wait for the grebe to hatch.
The tufted duck are really tame now. One female was sleeping 6 meters away. I could see the drops of water on her back. Beautiful…

A male tufted duck was looking for food in front of my hide.This picture was taken just after it came out of the water. you can see some “weeds” on his back.
