I have lot`s of jay at my woodland hide. They are incredible birds. Your remember the acorn i picked in the autumn. Well I am using them now. They are nice and green. The best way to keep them green is to place them in the freezer.

Yesterday I went to collect acorns. It is a very good year for them. I collected a bucket full. I place them in the freezer , like that they will stay green. I will use them this winter.

Grey squirrel

It`s nice to have one or two grey squirrel at a feeding station but you have to be very careful as they would eat all the bird food in an instant. They are clever and cunning little beast!!

These were taken at my woodland hide a week ago. They are cracking birds!! They can also be tricky to photograph. They were hiding acorns away. amazing to watch.
