There is quite a lot of activity at my woodland hide. I have three woodpeckers at the moment. There is lots of chasing, squabbling etc… It is always nice to be able to capture two different species on the same branch.

Blue tit
Lot`s going on at the minute. My restaurant has reopened and I have been very very busy. I am still going out, but I have trouble keeping up with the processing. Two days ago I witnessed for the first time in my life blue tit leaving their nest site. They used one of my “natural” nestbox. The nestbox is invaluable for little birds and also very photogenic. Five second after having taken the pictures of the young blue tit she left the nest ….amazing to watch those tiny birds taking a leap of faith….
