Blue tit, Great tit

My feeding station has been going on for more than a month now. They are very few birds there. Some species have totally disappeared. No more coal tit, no more marsh tit. I think that the avian flu has killed millions of birds. It will be interesting to see how the seabird colony are doing this spring. In the mean time I am still using the old door as a prop….

Woodland hide

There is quite a lot of activity at my woodland hide. I have three woodpeckers at the moment.  There is lots of chasing, squabbling etc…  It is always nice to be able to capture two different species on the same branch.

“Tits”

The tits are common bird, but trust me, they are a challenge to photograph.  They fast and they never stand still. Good training for a wildlife photographer. Those pictures were taken recently, I use an old chain and a rusty ring. I like those texture pictures….

Passerine

I am trying to do passerine in their natural habitat. I have been using a wide angle lens for this. The camera is about 30 cm away from the bird. Will try again…..I think it would be better without sun…..
