I was doing some prep in my kitchen when an immature green woodpecker landed on the lawn. Got the camera and murdered the little tyke. it stay there for half an hour.

Yesterday while I was working , a young green woodpecker landed on my lawn. I took my camera and took a few shots before going back to my cooking. This is taken from my kitchen window! 🙂 🙂

They are gone
I was lucky to be in my hide while the woodpecker fledged. amazing to watch. so noisy, four young came out of the nest. two male and two female.
