Quick Recce
Two days ago I had a quick recce on farmland. It is still just about ok to drive across fields and farm tracks. But autumn is here and it is getting wetter and wetter. Soon it will be impossible to use the car as a hide….

What a morning…
Very early last Sunday I went back to try to photograph red deer. I was lucky the mist was there. Mist always given another dimension to pictures. It was quite haunting to walk in the dark with deer bellowing around you.
It does make you very alert! Trust me on this. I could hear those stags bellowing their heart out in the dark.
It was AMAZING
