I am trying to do passerine in their natural habitat. I have been using a wide angle lens for this. The camera is about 30 cm away from the bird. Will try again…..I think it would be better without sun…..

Snow,Glorious snow.
The weather has gone mad. Yesterday,We had snow in Buckinghamshire . In the morning I went to my woodland hide. They were lots of birds there. It was nice to photograph tit`s and Co. It is always challenging to photograph tits. They are very fast and never stop for anything, especially the coal and the marsh tit.
In the afternoon I had a drive down the barn owl area. I almost got stuck with my hairdresser`s car. It is very very wet everywhere. After an hour or so I spotted an owl on a post. The snow was coming down like mad.
Snow, especially falling snow always make a picture look special, whatever the subject. This is a big crop of the barn owl but I like the shot. It was late afternoon and the owl was probably very hungry….
