It is migration time. I was able to go to the Norfolk coast recently and came across this bird. I wish I was able to go to the coast more often….

A very impressive bird. They will soon be gone back to Russia to breed. Best place to see them is Slimbridge.

And again…
I will do those to the death! 🙂 They had forecasted full sun today. Well yet again they were wrong! I do not like sun on kingfisher. It was bright overcast. So I went for three hours at my hide. Again I had some very interesting behaviour.

This female was ejecting a pellet from her throat (Fish bones)

Kingfisher are still performing. I`d be stupid not to photograph them…They are stunning birds. And beware , once you start photographing kingfisher you cannot stop…. 🙂
