Quick trip down the river yesterday. A pair of mute swan was there. I took some picture really close to the water. I like that perspective.

A very impressive bird. They will soon be gone back to Russia to breed. Best place to see them is Slimbridge.

I love this swan, I love the sound they make too . Soon they will be going back to their breeding ground. One of the best place to photograph those is Slimbridge in Gloustershire. Cracking bird!

Mute swan is a big bird! I am always amazed to see them in flight. This time of year they are starting to display and can be very agressive.
