Last Sunday, I went to the seaside. I had a stunning day! Birds and mammals all over the place…and Good light too!

The light was not great this morning. But it was nice enough for one species of bird. I went to my reed bed hide for three hours….Within 10 minutes a water rail came in front of me. Then another. The shutter of the camera did not seem to scare them. They were bomb proof! 🙂 One of them stayed for an hour in front of me…

Here are a few close up. This bird was about three metres away from my lens.
Two days ago while I was photographing hare I came across a lapwing. It was in the middle of a field. I did find that bizarre. I stop and started to scan with my binocular, when suddenly I came across a chick. I was quite surprise to see a lapwing chick there as buzzard are breeding there and Two pair of carrion crow are also there. I took a few pictures and left the birds in peace.
