I came across this deer two weeks ago. They are more and more Chinese water deer in my area. Look at those teeth 🙂

I’ve got a couple here and it’s incredible how well they can stay hidden in the undergrowth. They run out at the last minute as I’m passing, I try not to disturb them in case they have young with them at this time of year – at least they don’t have the dagger like antlers that the muntjac do.
