They need to if they can, yields are well down and they are already using it because there’s no grazing – speaking of grass, for the first time in the 30 odd years I’ve lived here, I saw a grass snake in my garden. To be honest I nearly tripped over it as I didn’t expect to see it, right near my house!! Got a good look close up before it shot off – they don’t half move fast😂
I will be keeping a look out from now on – btw, remember the lovely tree bumblebees I had in the summer, well unfortunately I recently discovered they actually put the nest right into the plasterboard of the house – not looking forward to sorting that out🫣
