Amazing moment yesterday evening. A red kite was chasing a barn owl, the barn owl was coming back with a prey and the kite was trying to steal it from her. Amazing to watch.

Three days ago , while I was in my kitchen working. I could hear a commotion in the meadow next to the restaurant. I had a closer look and I clocked two red kite fighting on the ground. Took me a few second the get the camera ….. Amazing, I had never seen that before…..

During the harvest , I also had the opportunity to photograph red kite. The straw bale are very good perch and all sorts of birds were landing on them

At my local patc,h they are two pairs of Hobby nesting. Hobby always nest in a very tall tree. This one was been pested by a red kite and came quite close.
